A quick introduction to Taylor Fowler

I’m Taylor Fowler.

I’ve been passionately writing stories since I was a kid.

It started with journaling my day-to-day happenings in a purple and green notebook. I wrote about the games I played with Grandma before devouring a slice of her homemade (boxed) fudge-iced yellow cake. I wrote what the Aspinwall girls said that day. I wrote about my beloved Shetland Sheepdog, Crystal.

As I grew, my writing grew with me.

I continued to journal private thoughts on home life, friendships, and relationships. I filled my high school schedule with creative nonfiction and English electives and spent my teenage years bringing those stories to life for my peers.

I used writing as an outlet. Then I pursued writing as a career. In college, I acquired leadership roles with my university publications as Features Editor of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown’s The Advocate and as Campus Culture Editor for Penn State University’s Valley Magazine. I honed a degree in journalism and public relations and followed a winding, creative professional career doing both.

I wanted to write about people, places, and experiences that mattered.

Now I’ve landed here.

Telling your stories—still writing my own.

Here’s what you can expect from this blog:

  • Published work; a portfolio of features I’ve published elsewhere.

  • Creative works and personal musings I publish right here on the site.

Do you have a story to tell? Looking for someone to help you unleash it? Send me a note.
