I have a thing for words and the way they work.

Our stories help us understand our world.

They shape our perspective. They teach and enlighten. They put us on the same wavelength and connect us beyond the surface.

Think about the last time you were deeply engaged in someone’s story.

You remember it, don’t you?

The eye contact. The head tilt. The feelings as you hang on to every word. The way you connected to it—the reason it mattered.

That’s the power of words, well told.

How did I turn my love of stories into my life’s work?

It starts when I realized wasn’t living on my terms.

I was working jobs that left me empty, doing what I “should” be doing instead of what I desired.

I was missing the feeling–the feeling when a new connection makes the background noise fade and I want nothing more than what’s in front of me, nodding at every word and buzzing with excitement about the possibility of our forces coming together to create a difference in the world.

Lost in the story — in the feeling of being deeply compelled by someone’s work, and wishing I could tell more people about it.

As I left those moments to lifelessly do things I didn’t care about, I had to ask myself: Why?

No answer? Time for a change.

I wanted to use the power of the pen to do something of service to others living out their dreams.

To see energy literally shift, in my clients and in who they serve, when we amplify a story that matters.
